Story

I work for Child Rescue Nepal, which is an incredible charity that does what it says on the tin, rescuing and empowering children and young people to uncover dreams they never knew were possible and learn life skills that help them build their own brighter future.
Thank you for coming to my Justgiving page and supporting me. I am embarking on a challenge that makes me nervous and takes my breath away.
Swimming half a mile in the Serpentine on 20th September may seem a small feat to many of you. However, for me, it is not. First of all I have to build up some stamina, overcome some underlying fears, I never knew I had, find a way of ensuring my mouth does not dry out whilst I swim and also working out a way of getting to the event, swimming and having sufficient energy to get home.
So why am I doing this at all?
Because every penny I raise will make a difference to the work done in Nepal. I have witnessed first hand the resilience of the young people who have been rescued in Nepal. They have taught me a great deal.
So where do you come in?
Firstly thank you for believing in me enough to visit my page. All words of encouragement will be greatly appreciated and any amount donated to Child Rescue Nepal 🇳🇵 ❤️ will go a long way.
When you click on the link to donate you are helping me on my journey to swim the Serpentine and fundraise.
🥰 Thank you.
Remember, Justgiving is a charity, too, but you can decide how much of a tip you want to add. Tips go to Justgiving to keep the platform costs low.
