On August 17th, I’ll be lacing up my trainers and taking on the Scottish 10K in support of a cause that means a great deal to me: Andy’s Man Club – a vital charity working to support men’s mental health across the UK.

Why Andy’s Man Club?
Because suicide is the biggest killer of men under 54 in the UK. And yet, so many still suffer in silence. Andy’s Man Club is changing that.

They offer free, peer-to-peer support groups for men to come together and talk – without judgment, without pressure, and without stigma. Just a safe space where it’s okay to say, “I’m not okay.” From just one group in Halifax, they’ve now grown to over 270+ groups nationwide, helping thousands of men each week to open up, connect, and find strength in shared experience.

This cause is personal – for friends, for family, for anyone who's ever struggled in silence. By supporting my run, you're helping Andy’s Man Club reach more men, open more doors, and break down the stigma that stops so many from seeking help.
