Magic Breakfast is Deutsche Bank’s UK Charity of the Year 2026 - 2027. This corporate partnership will support Magic Breakfast to ensure over 300,000 children in England and Scotland are nourished, empowered and thriving through the magic of breakfast.

One in seven children and young people in the UK arrive at school with empty tummies. Hunger doesn’t just affect learning; it impacts a child’s chance to thrive.

Each year, Magic Breakfast impacts hundreds of thousands of school children at schools in disadvantaged communities.

For these pupils, breakfast isn’t just about food. It’s a moment of stability, a consistent and nurturing environment that supports well-being and readiness to learn.

This February, I am either running, walking or swimming at least 34 miles to raise funds for Magic Breakfast.

Why 34 miles? Well, 34p is all it costs to feed one child a nutritious breakfast!

These miles will be tracked by Charity and I will be posting updates here.

Through dedicated employee fundraising, Deutsche Bank will match every £1 I raise, up to £1,000. This means you could be helping me raise £2,000 for Magic Breakfast!

Because for hundreds of thousands of children in the UK, the magic isn’t an extra. It’s essential.
