I have wanted to do a skydive for many years but have always been too scared to take the leap (excuse the pun!) and sign up.

I was so moved by the Operation Airbase appeal currently ongoing with Hampshire & Isle of Wight Air Ambulance that I felt compelled to sign up. Unfortunately, due to a frozen shoulder I'm no longer able to take part so I have deferred my spot to next year. I was so keen to still do something this year that I am now doing...a glasswalk!

Apparently you need patience for this activity, which I don't have much of, so this really will be a challenge for me!

It currently costs in excess of £17,750 a day to maintain our life saving service, and it is only thanks to the generosity of the communities that we serve that we are able keep the Air Ambulance flying and saving lives.
