St Columba’s Hospice Care provides palliative and end-of-life care for people with life-limiting illnesses and their famalies.

My father in law was a patient at St Columba’s this time last year. Jim was a proud man and a great husband, father and grandpa, the staff here were wonderful at helping to make a heartbreaking situation more comfortable and private. All the staff were especially great with my kids who remained by their grandpas side till his last day. I can’t bring Jim back and I know he’d say I was mad to run another marathon 🥰 but I hope that by raising some money to support this independent charity that other families will continue to feel the warmth and support at St Columba’s to get through their worst days and in the days/weeks after.
