Story

Firewalk 2025!

This year, I have signed up to Team90, joining likeminded individuals, groups and companies as we all come together with the aim of raising 90k in QEF's 90th anniversary year. My own personal challenge will be by facing the heat and take on QEF's very first Fire Walk!

I would be incredibly grateful if you could help me reach my target as I take on this flaming fundraiser and walk across red-hot embers for a charity so dear to me! the last year QEF has worked with over 10,000 disabled adults and children living with physical and learning disabilities or acquired brain injuries, supporting them in gaining new skills and increased independence.

Whether its learning everyday life skills, rebuilding a life affected by brain injury or acquiring the skills to drive a specially adapted car, QEF supports disabled people to achieve their potential, so they can be as independent as possible and live enriched and fulfilled lives.

There are 16m disabled people in the UK.

Every 90 seconds someone is admitted into hospital with an acquired brain injury.

In the next 20 years, the rate of first-time strokes in people 45+ is expected to rise by 59%.
