Story
As you may already know, my Dad passed away peacefully on Sunday 8th March 2026 at St Richard's Hospice.
On the 16th January he was told at the QE he had pancreatic cancer and the median survival was 6-18 months. 1 month later on the 16th February he was admitted to Worcester hospital and was given just weeks (although they thought days) to live.
On the 5th March he was admitted to St Richards Hospice and with a view out into the gardens he happily believed he could see the GGs racing around (they were giraffes), the sun was shining and he went to sleep content for the last time. He passed 3 days later.
So in May this year me, Ben and Freddie are taking part in SRH's annual Malvern Hills Walk to raise vital funds for St Richard’s Hospice
Each year it costs St Richard's over £12 million to provide free care and support to patients and their loved ones which quite simply they would not be able to do without the support of fundraising efforts.
So please dig deep, forgo that extra pint and make a donation no matter the amount in memory of my pops xx
