We are thrilled to announce an exciting new partnership between Reading Joggers and Berkshire Healthcare Charity! Together, we are committed to promoting the physical and mental well-being of our community, and we need your support to make a lasting impact.

At Reading Joggers, we believe in the power of movement and community. Our running club is dedicated to inspiring people of all ages and fitness levels to lace up their shoes and enjoy the many benefits of running. We understand that physical activity is not just about staying fit; it's also a powerful tool for enhancing mental health and overall well-being.

Berkshire Healthcare Charity shares this vision. As advocates for both physical and mental well-being, they are eager to work together to support various essential services and projects provided by their dedicated teams. Our partnership will help enhance the quality of life for individuals and families across Berkshire, specifically the services they offer at Prospect Park Hospital.

We would like to raise money for a new cardio wall for Prospect Park Hospital. Studies have shown that users of cardio walls in health settings see improvements in their cognition, hand eye coordination, mental focus, confidence, core strength, balance, and overall cardiovascular fitness. Some inpatients have limited access to exercise and the cardio walls provide safe and easy access to exercise with minimal supervision required. They also provide a calmer social environment in the wards due to the mental stimulation and distraction the walls create.
