We welcome spring and once again we are preparing for the Hike for Hospice Huntsville. I hope that you can join me on Sunday, May 3 at Limberlost Reserve as we walk together to raise money for this fabulous organization. If you aren’t able to hike, please consider supporting my hike.

Earlier this year I went to the open house at Algonquin Grace to see the new expansion of our hospice. It is a beautiful welcoming space with family rooms, a multipurpose meeting room, counselling spaces for grief programs and offices.

Hospice Huntsville is so important for their work and service in our community. Most people in Huntsville and Lake of Bays have been touched by the need for Hospice. 

Both at Algonquin Grace and in homes, the wonderful staff and volunteers support and care for people who are facing the end of their lives. All funds raised by our hike stay in our community and I'm hiking so that the programs remain free of charge and available to everyone.
