I'm completing the Great North Run to raise the profile of the Galgo (Spanish hunting dog) and awareness of the terrible cruelty they suffer.

Every year it is estimated that around 60,000 Galgos (Spanish hunting dogs) are killed, tortured or abandoned in Spain. Many suffer a life of neglect, abuse and pain, with owners rarely being convicted for their cruelty towards their dogs.

As Galgos are not protected under law, its down to the continued efforts of charities such as Galgos del Sol who work tirelessly to rescue and provide much needed shelter, medical support and lots of love and affection for Galgos before finding them their forever homes.

Please help me raise some much needed funds to support the teams re-homing these loving and much neglected dogs, every £1 really makes a huge difference to each and every rescue.
