On Friday 6th November 2026, I will be trading my everyday shoes for dancing ones and taking to the stage at the stunning Kings Hall in Stoke-on-Trent for a night of sparkle, sequins, and sensational performances — all in aid of the amazing Dougie Mac Hospice.

Organised by Knot Events, Strictly Knot Dancing is a live ballroom and Latin dance competition featuring brave local business volunteers, each paired with a professional dancer sourced via the brilliant team at Sanctuary Dance Studio in Stone.

Over the coming months, we’ll be learning and rehearsing dazzling dance routines to perform in front of a live audience and a panel of judges… most of us with zero prior dance experience! 😅

Each of us has committed to raising £4,000 for Dougie Mac, and every donation - big or small - will help us reach our goal. Your generosity will help fund nurses, counsellors, family support services, and so much more.
