I’m fundraising for Tommy’s, the baby charity by running my first ever marathon at the tender age of 63! Tommy's provide expert advice and fund pioneering research to prevent stillbirth, miscarriage and premature birth.

In the UK, it's estimated that 1 in 4 pregnancies end in loss during pregnancy or birth. 53,000 babies are born prematurely. Tommy's lead ground-breaking research into the causes and treatments of baby loss and complications to save babies lives.

Their mission is to stop the heartbreak and devastation of baby loss and make pregnancy and birth safe for everyone.

Thanks to supporters like you,Tommy's are able to continue carrying out more than £2m worth of research every year in 4 centres across the UK – in short, you’re helping save babies' lives.

I feel incredibly grateful and lucky to have had 3 healthy,full-term pregnancies.I shall be giving it my all for this amazing charity and shall be running in celebration of my 3 wonderful children.
