Story
In April 2026, I will be taking on the huge challenge of running the London Landmarks Half Marathon for a special cause. Thank you so much in advance for donating whatever you can, it really will make a massive difference.
In 2000, I was diagnosed with scleroderma/myositis and Raynaud’s (I do have a good excuse for wearing gloves all year!). I’m really fortunate that my condition is mild and well-managed with medications. For many others, these conditions can be far more severe and life-altering.
A few years ago, I took up running, which was a surprise to me and everyone who knows me! I’m pushing myself and taking on the challenge of running the London Landmarks Half Marathon in support of Scleroderma & Raynaud’s UK (SRUK).
SRUK is a great charity that not only provides support and advice to patients and families, but also funds research into Scleroderma and Raynaud’s, to improve treatments and understand these rare and complex conditions.
By donating, you’ll be helping to support those living with scleroderma, myositis, and Raynaud’s. Thank you so much for your support, I’m truly grateful!
