I’m taking part in the 2024 Big Green Hike to raise funds for the Yorkshire Rewilding Network.

The Network aims to bring together anyone in the region who has an interest in rewilding — to inspire one-another, share knowledge and experience, and work towards a brighter, more sustainable future for all inhabitants… be they creatures great or small.

They believe in a nature-first approach to land care and management — from urban gardens to farms, coastal waters to upland dales — one that allows Yorkshire’s diverse mosaic of habitats to thrive, and all communities living within them to flourish.

I’m joining a group of walkers covering a 5 mile circuit in the Harewood Estate in Leeds. This is my first solo hike since being pregnant and my first social hike without Rhys. A great opportunity to connect with like minded others and raise some valuable funds at the same time. If you have a few quid you can spare it would be much appreciated! Thanks 🙏
