Hi folks,

I am attempting a massive trek through the Himilayers in Nepal from Lukla to Gokyo Lakes onto Mount Everest base camp and returning to Lukla in October and trying to raise some money for worthwhile charities in the process.

This trek is in memory of my greatest hero, my Dad who we lost very suddenly earlier this year. He was my biggest inspiration, the kindest, patient, hardest working, and gentlest of soles, a true gentlemen and his passing has left a hole in our lives that can never be filled. He was always my number one supporter in whatever I did. This is actually the second attempt at Everest base camp, I got so close last time, it just wasn't to be for a lot of reasons but I always felt that one day I would go back and complete it.
