Story
Owen, Michelle, Graeme, Kevin and I are taking on the Kiltwalk this year – the Mighty Stride, about 26 miles – to raise money for Beatson Cancer Charity, a charity very close to our hearts.
We’re doing this in loving memory of our dad, who bravely fought a stage 4 brain tumour. Throughout his journey, our mum stood by his side as his biggest supporter, showing incredible strength and unwavering love. Watching their resilience and the way they held onto each other through such a heartbreaking time was both deeply painful and profoundly inspiring.
We’re taking on this challenge to make him proud. We know he’ll be with us every step of the way, giving us the strength to keep going — just as he always did.
Also doing it memory of Graeme’s mum and dad who have now both passed to this horrible disease.
This is our second year doing the Kiltwalk, and every mile we walk is for our parents and for all families facing the reality of cancer. Beatson Cancer Charity provides vital support, comfort, and hope to people when they need it most.
Any donation, no matter the size, will make a real difference and means more to us than we can put into words. Thank you so much for your kindness and support ❤️
