Our school is one of the largest special schools in England, we currently have 360 pupils with a range of additional needs. You may have seen reports in the news detailing the lack of provision for pupils with special needs - we have been lucky enough to have taken possession of a new building which has allowed us to welcome new pupils, and more in September.

Whilst the new building is ready for pupils internally, we do not have funding to create a suitable outdoor space. Access to outdoor space, play and equipment is vital to our pupils' development, regulation and learning. At the bottom of this letter you will see pictures of what the space currently looks like, and some of the areas we have already completed. We hope to provide similar facilities for our new building.

We are attempting to raise funds for development of the outdoor space, and need a total of £350,000.
