Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my page. I’ve been lucky enough to get a ballot place in the London Marathon 2024, I will be raising money for the British Heart Foundation in memory of my Dad. In April 2004 mine and my family’s world changed forever when my Dad went to work as normal but sadly never returned home. He died suddenly at the age of 55 from a heart attack. This coming April in 2024 will mark 20 years and this feels like the perfect way to pay tribute and raise money for a worthy cause in memory of my Dad. If you’re able to spare a few pennies I would really appreciate it, I know it will help keep me going over the gruelling 26 miles! No amount is to small.
The BHF has helped halve the number of people dying from heart and circulatory disease in the UK but sadly every day hundreds of people lose their lives. It's only thanks to support from people like us that the BHF can create new treatments and discover new cures in the hope that other family’s don’t have to go though the pain and loss like we have.
