1 in 29 children in Scotland are bereaved of a parent or sibling - that's an average of 1 child in every school class. By sharing how you cope with big feelings you'll make a real difference and help a bereaved child live well with their grief.

Story

Richmond's Hope is an amazing charity that supports children and young people from Edinburgh, Midlothian, Glasgow and surrounding areas who have been bereaved.

They provide children with a safe place to work out their grief through play and specialised grief activities and provide tailored programmes of care for each child.

This charity helped my amazing daughter Lily with the pain of losing her dad. We now want to give back and raise funds for Richmond's Hope to make it possible for other bereaved children to benefit from their service.

So in memory of Ian and in support for all the amazing resilient bereaved children and young people me, my dad and Lily (part of it) will be walking the Glasgow Kilt Walk (23 miles) for Richmond's Hope.

If you have a spare few quid and want to donate, I can promise its going to an fantastic small charity that makes a huge difference to childrens lives.

Thank you from bottom of our hearts for any kind donations it means alot. If ur feeling energetic feel free to join us for part of the walk 🤪xxx
