Hi, we are Jo-Lei and Sally from The Emergency Surgical Unit and we are taking part in an Ultra Challenge by walking 100K (62 Miles) of the Jurassic Coast, starting in the morning and walking continuously throughout the night to raise money for Bowel Cancer UK.

Karen was an Assistant Practitioner on The Emergency Surgical Unit, but had worked as part of several other teams during her 30 years’ service at RCHT. Karen was a dear colleague and beautiful friend to all. She is missed beyond belief.

Please help our team ‘The Birdies’ raise as much as possible before we start our 100K journey on the 17th May 2025.

All donations will go to Bowel Cancer UK, which Karen sadly lost her battle to in March 2023.
