My brother and I lost our Dad when we were just 10 and 12 years old. It was truly heartbreaking and changed us forever. I want to help kids who live through that.

So, I’m using my 2024 Royal Parks Half Marathon place to help an amazing charity I recently heard about :

Winston’s Wish make a difference to grieving children and young people.

The death of someone important can be the most traumatic experience a child or young person will ever face.

Winston’s Wish relies on voluntary charitable donations to support children and their families following the death of a parent, sibling or important person. Since 1992, they have helped tens of thousands of bereaved children and young people and, with our help, can help tens of thousands more during the most difficult time of their lives.

I’m aiming to get my half done in 2 hours; any money I raise will definitely spur me on!!
