Karl

Hello my name is Karl Brookes and I am 33 years young. I am from Dromore, my hobbies include drag, photography, cooking, sewing and just hanging out with friends if I’m not sleeping. I am currently engaged to my partner of 3 years so we are currently in the fun wedding planning stage, yay me lol! I work night shift in Marks & Spencer’s have been there almost 10 years making sure it is all stocked out for you in the mornings (your welcome). Why I wanted to dance well, I have been a volunteer in Via Wings for many years, I help out with photography, video and especially Christmas decor and fundraising events. I was only meant to film the dance practices but got talked into taking part as one of the dancers! Thanks Gail ;-) but I’m happy to be part of it. It has been fun and we are having a laugh doing it as well as hopefully raising vital funds for the charity.

Hi I'm Louise Robinson and I live in Dromore. When Gail and Amy asked me to take part in Strictly I said absolutely NO WAY! I actually still don't remember saying Yes....

I have know Gail for many years and remember being one of the few girls helping out back in the beginning of the Via Wings journey in the old tiny terrace house. Many laughs, tears and stories were told and listened to there. It's amazing to see how Via Wings has grown into what it is today.

Rehearsals have been fun but difficult and anyone who knows me knows this is so far out of my comfort zone and out of character. My 2 kids are the performers of the family. I've spent many years on the other side watching, being the drama mum and dance mum, so let's hope I don't embarrass them too much on the night!
