Story
On Saturday 8th August, I'm taking on the Derbyshire Three Peaks Challenge – a 33km trek across Kinder Scout, Bleaklow and Higher Shelf Stones in the Peak District.
It’s a tough day of walking, with over 900m of ascent and long stretches of exposed moorland, and I am doing it to raise vital funds for Together Dementia Support. I have been involved with Together Dementia Support since it was set up in 2014. I volunteer at one of the weekly Friendship & Activity groups where people living with dementia get together to have fun and make friends (and also giving their family carers a break).
Together Dementia Support works across Manchester to support people living with dementia and their carers.
Every donation helps us continue being there for the people who need us most.
