The current political climate, especially in Germany, the UK, and the USA, requires us to speak up and take action for the rights of asylum seekers around the world.

I am raising money for The Separated Child Foundation, a UK-based charity that offers emotional, social and practical support to children who arrive in the UK alone as refugees. These young people have to flee their homelands because of war, terror or persecution. They do not have their parents with them because they were killed before they left or were unable to leave. The Foundation’s aim is to ensure that every separated child in the UK gets the support they need to rebuild their lives and fulfil their potential.

Having worked at The Separated Child Foundation for seven months in 2023, I know from first-hand experience that every donation will make a real difference. That’s why I am using my London Marathon lottery ballot place to run in support of this incredible cause.
