Over the course of eight weeks, starting 16 July, I'll be chasing after 40 bulls and 80 calves in and around Birmingham. That is to say, 120 artistically sculptured bulls, not real ones. That would make a mess, and we don't want any more of that. Besides, I'm not exactly a cowboy with a lasso.

No, what I'm referring to here is raising money for a terrific cause. The remarkably talented people at Wild in Art have created a colourful art trail called 'Bulls in the City', which will pepper the city with 120 creatively imprinted bulls for people to find, raising awareness of Birmingham Hospice.

I'll be taking on this trail to find every single bull and calf, and I'm asking you to contribute a small sum towards my cause.

Every penny raised while I hop, skip, and jog through town in search of each fibreglass animal will go directly to Birmingham Hospice, whose mission is to ensure that everyone has access to the care of their choice at the end of their life. To guarantee the very best care is available, wherever and whenever it’s needed, they require our help.
