#KART4LIFE : Petit Le Mans - TRAFFORD · 30 April 2024

Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust Charity works hard to make a difficult time a little bit easier for young and old at our family of nine hospitals. Supporting: Manchester Royal Infirmary | Wythenshawe Hospital | Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital | Manchester Royal Eye Hospital | Saint Mary’s Hospital | Manchester University Dental Hospital | Withington Community Hospital | Trafford General Hospital | Altrincham Hospital | North Manchester General Hospital. We support continuing excellence in treatment, care and research.

Story

The Petit Le Mans (French for little Le Mans) is our latest KART4LIFE event, and just like the American sports car race, this has been created in the spirit of the iconic 24 Hours of Le Mans.

Racing teams must balance the demands of speed with endurance karting ability to run for 10 hours without stopping. It’s all about strategy, pit stops and working together, with the team who completes the most laps taking the chequered flag!

Held at the 450m circuit at TeamSport Trafford Park, Manchester!

#KART4LIFE events are all about having a great time and most importantly raising funds and awareness for a chosen charity, this event is no different and we are fundraising for the fantastic Manchester Children's Hospital charity.

"As a charity our mission is simple: to support the excellence in treatment, research and care we provide to our patients each and every day. We want to make a real difference to the people we treat – young and old – by making sure that they continue to receive the very best treatment in the very best facilities."
