As many of you are aware, last week massive landslides and flooding spread havoc and unimaginable extent of damage in Wayanad, Kerala, India. An entire township with about 250-300 houses was wiped off. The number of human lives lost has yet to be finalised. Roads, schools, water and electricity supply, sewerage, access to medical facilities, shelter, clothes, food…..anything you can imagine is essential for living is not easily available for the survivors.

The State of Kerala has a huge task in hand, of saving lives and providing the survivors with the basic necessities. The road to full recovery is going to be long and complicated. Many of us cannot be there in person to help. I request you to donate in aid of Health Welfare UK for this specific cause. We can all indirectly be part of the team who is on the ground in Wayanad, helping our helpless fellow citizens…. We can do this by lending financial resources which in turn will make a huge difference in bringing back normality for many lives.
