The Little BIG Book Drop

Karys Walsh is raising money for The Worst Girl Gang Ever Foundation
In memory of Baby Walsh
We’re raising £3,000 to distribute the TWGGE book to frontline services. These books will be given directly to people at the point they receive bad news, offering immediate support when words fail.

Story

I’m supporting The Little Big Book Drop because I know how overwhelming it can be when bad news is delivered and there’s no time, space, or words for what comes next.

Too often, people go home and search online, finding information that increases fear rather than offering comfort.

This campaign raises funds to place the TWGGE book directly into frontline services, so people receive real support at the moment it’s needed.

I’m fundraising £100 to deliver a box of 20 books to a service that matters to me.

Any donation - big or small - helps put support into someone’s hands.

Thank you for being part of this.

My story…

In April 2024, we should have been welcoming our first baby, after experiencing a miscarriage.

But in September 2023, our world changed when we were told there was no longer a heartbeat, and we were suddenly navigating the heartbreak of a second miscarriage. It’s a moment that stays with you forever one that is impossible to fully prepare for, and impossible to forget.

In April 2026, I will be donating these books to the early pregnancy unit who cared for me and Rob so incredibly well during one of the darkest times in our lives.

They treated us with such kindness, compassion, and dignity when we needed it most. Even in the middle of heartbreak, they made us feel seen, supported.

I want others to have access to this book because…

The Worst Girl Gang Ever charity supported me in ways I don’t think I’ll ever fully be able to explain.

At a time when life felt incredibly lonely — and when some friendships changed or faded. I found a community of people who truly understood. Through them, I found comfort, honesty, and some of the most meaningful friendships I’ve ever had. They helped carry me through moments I didn’t think I would get through.

No one should have to navigate loss feeling alone.

And if this book can bring even a small amount of comfort, reassurance, or understanding to someone in those early, painful moments — then it means everything to be able to help make that happen
