Story
Kasper (9) and Otto (5) will be taking on an incredible challenge of their own over their Easter holidays – they’ll be cycling all the way from Innsbruck, Austria, to Verona, Italy – around 300km through the Tyrolean mountains to the Adige valley and plains of Veneto.
For Otto, who is still only 5, this will be the first time we’ve done a trip like this without a trailer as a backup, so this is a huge adventure for both boys. To help keep their legs moving on the climbs, we wanted to give them an extra sense of purpose: riding to raise money for a great cause.
They are taking on this challenge in support of Hillingdon Slipstreamers coach, Michelle, who is tackling an extraordinary ride this summer, where she will cycle every stage of the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift (TdFFAZ) route one day ahead of the professionals, raising funds for Cure Leukaemia.
Both challenges aren't just about pushing physical limits—it’s about making a difference. Every pound raised will go directly to Cure Leukaemia, the official UK charity partner of the TdFFAZ. These funds will support the revolutionary ATICUS Network, breaking barriers in clinical trial access for children battling blood cancer and bringing hope to families across the UK.
We are so proud of the boys for wanting to do their part to help children facing leukaemia, while also supporting Coach Michelle in her inspiring journey and preparation for her event.
If you’re able to support them, every donation — big or small — will help keep them pedalling all the way to Verona, and most importantly, help make a real difference for children and families who need it most.
Thank you so much for cheering them on 💛
