I discovered running as a passion and outlet for my mental health in April 2025 and after a lifetime of hating it - I’m somehow now loving it enough to volunteer to run a half marathon. 🤣

Christie have treated and supported both my brother in law Craig through his brain tumour treatment, as well as my mother in law Diane when she had breast cancer.

As many of you know Diane is in end of life care for oral cancer and I can’t help but feel the timing of this race is a sign from the universe. ❤️ it feels really special to be raising money for more cancer care and cancer research and treatment after it’s wrecked our lives this year and I’m watching my husband lose his mum.

Raising money will also hold me accountable to my training and keep me going on the day - so even a small donation from my amazing community and clients will go a long way. 🙏🏼
