In April 2026 we’re walking the Glasgow Kiltwalk to raise funds for The National House Project, a charity supporting young people leaving care. Your donation will help ensure young people live connected and fulfilling lives. Make our miles matter.

Story

In April 2026, I’m taking part in the Glasgow Kiltwalk to raise funds for the National House Project (where I work), who transform the way young people leave care and move to independence.

The National House Project work with over 1,100 young people across 23 Local Authority areas in England and Scotland.

By joining a Local House Project care-experienced young people get tailored support, develop skills for independence, gain new experiences and friendships, as well as a safe and secure home for as long as they want.

Since 2018, more than 680 young people have successfully moved into permanent housing through a Local House Project with no tenancy breakdowns or evictions. Many describe gaining “friends for life” and a renewed confidence to pursue education and employment.

Lets make every mile matter.
