For most, one of the realities of cancer treatment is hair loss.

Keira was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia at just 2 and a half, in a strange way we were lucky that she was so young as her hair wasn’t so directly linked to her identity as it can be for older kids. She was still highly aware of the way people stared and often wore a hat.

She has now finished 2.5 years of chemotherapy and is doing well and just about to finish primary one. She has also grown a long and luscious head of hair which she would like to donate to The Little Princess Trust. We’d like to raise as much as possible to go towards the cost of making of a wig to help this fab charity. Any donations greatly appreciated! X

The Little Princess Trust provides real hair wigs, free of charge, to children and young people who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or to other conditions such as Alopecia.

The charity is also one of the largest funders of childhood cancer research in the UK.

The Little Princess Trust relies solely on the generosity of its wonderful supporters who help the charity give Hair and Hope to so many children and young people with cancer each year.
