Fundraising for The Baton of Hope UK
I have been selected as a Baton Bearer for The Baton of Hope Cumbria Tour, 7th Sept 2025. I will be walking with my brother Shaun, honouring those lost and sharing a message of hope to those who endure.
From May to August, I’ll be walking and swimming 37 miles each month in memory of two incredibly special people — both of whom are deeply missed.
This personal challenge is my way of honouring their passion for fitness, and raising awareness for a cause close to my heart: mental health and suicide prevention.
All funds raised will go to The Baton of Hope UK, a charity committed to changing the conversation around suicide, providing support, and offering hope where it’s needed most.
As part of this journey, I’ll also be hosting a Walk and Talk event — a chance to bring together those affected by loss, to walk side by side, share heartfelt memories, and find strength in meaningful connection. Everyone is welcome.
Along the way, I’ll be capturing photos during my walks and from the Walk and Talk event to create a special collage (with a special musical recording also in dedication). This will be shown at the Light and Hope event at the castle — a tribute to those we’ve lost and a reminder that none of us walk alone.
Please consider donating, sharing, or simply walking a few steps with me in spirit. Every mile is for them. Every pound brings hope.
Thank you for your support.
