Kate's fundraiser for Tiny Tickers

Kate Abbott (Pilates) is raising money for Tiny Tickers

Yorkshire 3 Peaks · 6 September 2025

This classic Yorkshire Dales challenge involves 25 miles & 1500m ascent. We'll conquer Pen-y-Ghent, Whernside, and Ingleborough for tiny hearts.

Story

Tiny Tickers is dedicated to making a better start for all tiny hearts. This year, their staff and supporters (including me!) are taking on the iconic Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge to raise vital funds.

I'll be embarking on an exciting adventure in September, hiking 24 miles through some of the UK's most stunning landscapes as I conquer Pen-y-Ghent, Whernside, and Ingleborough. This challenge is a great opportunity for me to push myself, enjoy the scenery and spend time with fab friends and other supporters of this charity.

More about Tiny Tickers:

A baby is born with a serious heart condition every two hours in the UK and despite congenital heart disease being one of the biggest killers of infants, only around half of congenital heart defects are picked up during routine prenatal scanning.

With your help we can provide a safety net for the 1,000 babies each year that leave hospital with their heart defect undetected, increasing detection rates, improving a baby’s chances of survival and long-term quality of life.
