Hiya, we’re Kate & Lil, also known as Mrs Wicks & Miss Cheyne from Colley Lane Primary Academy, & we’re taking on our first ever marathon: the biggest most iconic challenge of the London Marathon in April 2024. We are slightly crazy, a bit nervous but determined & dedicated to not only take on this running challenge but to raise awareness & as much money as we can for the invaluable NSPCC.

This amazing charity is close to our hearts; it works tirelessly to provide support, guidance & help to vulnerable children of the UK. 

The NSPCC is the leading children's charity fighting to end child abuse in the UK and Channel Islands. We help children who have been abused to rebuild their lives, protect those at risk, and find the best ways of preventing abuse from ever happening.

Every child deserves the best possible chance to rebuild their life after abuse.

That’s why we’re here. We’re the lucky ones - having happy, healthy, safe children in our families, our friends children, and children in our school - but we’re doing this for the others, the ones in need, to help protect, educate & rebuild lives.
