For those of you who know my work on the Imposter Phenomenon, you will realise that an education is important for everyone - but not all of us realise that when we are younger. I didn't believe I was university material in my teens, and it wasn't until I was in my forties that I went to university to study for a masters degree. This led to a PhD and my book, The Imposter Phenomenon, published just before I turned 60!

So I have chosen to support a charity which helps disadvantaged young people believe in themselves...

IntoUniversity supports young people with their education, particularly focussing on those who come from disadvantaged neighbourhoods to attain their aspirations, including further and higher education, employment and work-based training.

IntoUniversity students achieve more highly at school, progress to Higher Education at increased rates, and are less likely to drop out when there. You can read their impact report here.
