Story

Expedition Limitless 2026 aims to raise an incredible £200,000 to provide life-changing support for children and families.

From March 17th to April 1st, 2026, 12 novice explorers will face the harsh and unforgiving Arctic environment, navigating extreme conditions with only their grit, determination, and teamwork to carry them through. This is not just an adventure; it’s a mission with purpose, supporting two organisations dedicated to improving the lives of children and families in need.

This unsupported Arctic expedition will push their limits, test their resilience, and raise vital funds for two incredible Manx charities: Rebecca House and The Children’s Centre.

Rebecca House offers essential palliative care and respite for children with life-limiting conditions.

The Children’s Centre provides vital services to children and families in our community.

🥾 Why I was personally drawn to this expedition ❄️

This year has tested me in ways I never imagined. Divorce, grief and illness have weighed heavily on my heart, unsettling the very foundation of my existence.

I’ve been trying to find my way back to equilibrium for such a long time, and I can’t seem to get there (pesky life keeps throwing another curve ball at me).

Then , 2 weeks ago, I dreamt about being in the Artic , and the next day I rang Phil and said “I NEED a place on that expedition”. Phil being the man of wisdom he is , knew I needed a place too - and he managed to squeeze me in the team (Thank you).

I also had just seen my mum pass away in Hospice and couldn’t put into words how special palliative care teams are - I Needed to raise money and awareness , and here was my chance with EL26.

Also, Sweden is my ancestral home - my name is Swedish, so this was another driver for me. It’s been number 1 on my bucket list for years 🇸🇪

Most importantly, I need to do something hard to support my healing . Healing doesn’t always look gentle and slow with cosy blankets (I do that too 🧘 ☯️). Healing requires courage , and steeping into the elements in the Artic Circle is a challenge my spirit is drawn too.

I know Mother Nature in her raw power and quiet beauty will be my strength and my guide when times are hard out there, this is how healing looks for me.

The expeditions is a necessity for the 2 brilliant charities, but also a necessity for me as a human being.

I need to give a massive shout out to PGI my sponsors , who offered to support me immediately when I asked for them to collaborate with me. I do lots of work with PGI International delivering nature based wellness activities for their teams. We have a group of PGI employees doing our 3 Summits challenge in a few weeks ⛰️⛰️⛰️

Cold baths for me all winter now 🛁😅
