Brodies' Care are challenging colleagues to fundraise for CHAS.

In a spur of the moment decision, whilst channeling a ‘why not?!’ attitude to life, I volunteered to do a charity abseil in aid of the wonderful CHAS.

Then I realised that would entail me stepping off the side of a 131 ft building, with some ropes and bits of metal hopefully keeping me secure.

But hey, what better way to spend a Saturday than to step off the top of the UK’s first and tallest vertical distillery?

Signing up to this challenge has reminded me that I’m not the biggest fan of heights… hopefully the adrenaline on the day will make me forget that!

CHAS is Brodies charity partner. CHAS provides support to families with babies, children and young people with life-shortening conditions through palliative care, family respite and support delivered by its hospices, homecare services and hospital presence.
