I'm raising money to support Danaher Animal Home, a wonderful rehoming centre for dogs, cats, small animals and birds. Each year they take in hundreds of lost, abandoned or ill-treated animals and whilst affiliated to the RSPCA, the Danaher Animal Home is an independent charity entirely responsible for raising its own funds.

On 31st March this year it will mark 7 years since I picked up my precious Ned from Danaher. He passed away at the end of January this year and this run will be my way of saying thank you to Danaher for their important work and for connecting me with my best friend. They are a special charity run by brilliant staff and volunteers that truly care about every animal. (Special shout out to Bex from the rabbit house, who remembered Neddy when he came in and spent time to meet with me and talk about him after he passed. I'll never forget her kindness during that really difficult time <3)

I have never run this far and I've never trained for anything for this long either so, who knows how I'll do on the day, but I'll be giving it my best shot!
