Kate’s Climb For Dementia 🏔️💜

Kate Williams is raising money for Dementia Carers Count

Gran Paradiso, Italy (a 4,000m Alpine Summit!)

Half of us will become dementia carers, or need care. At Dementia Carers Count we provide information, advice and support to thousands of dementia carers every year. No carer should feel overwhelmed or alone.

Story

Work has always been my passion - I’ve built a business I truly believe in and love. But this year, I needed to channel that energy into something personal.

My dad is living with dementia, and like so many families, we’ve seen first-hand how cruel and consuming it can be.

Dementia doesn’t just affect the person diagnosed. It affects everyone around them - especially the carers.

That’s why this cause means so much to me.

Dementia Carers Count aren’t just a charity - they’re a team we’ve had the privilege of working with through KW Marketing (my business), and one that I personally admire so much.

So next Spring, I’ll be climbing Gran Paradiso in Italy - a 4,000m alpine summit - to raise money for Dementia Carers Count, a charity that provides practical and emotional support to the people caring for loved ones with dementia.

This is for my dad, and for every family living through the same heartbreak.

If it goes well… I’ll take on an even bigger one next (but let’s get through this first!).

Thank you for any support you can give, it means the world 💜

And as my dad would say, get your cash out... it's for a great cause!
