Those of us who know and love Ada know the challenges she faces everyday. Movement is a major issue for her, her little body doesn't do what she really wants it to. You can often see the intention in her fingers really trying to move towards the toy infront of her and sometimes, after a long while, they get there. Ada spends much time and concentration trying to engage physically in her environment but sadly her efforts often don't pay off.

The Rainbow Centre for Conductive Education is an amazing institution that works hard and effectively to explore an individual's physical potential. The staff work with children and adults living with neurological conditions to improve motor, sensory and communication skills, leading in turn to increased well being and independence.

The Rainbow Centre is so special because it believes that 'What an individual can do is far more important than what they can't'.

Ada visits the Centre each week and benefits from the fantastic system called Conductive Education, led by highly trained Conductors. Children explore their movement through a structured programme built on fun and success. Families are involved and can learn to continue supporting their children at home.

Of course, this vital and expensive service is unsupported by government and relies totally on charity fundraising and grants. I want to support Ada as much as I can and raising money for the Rainbow Centre is a really positive way to contribute. Please help me reach and maybe exceed my target.
