Story
We have set ourselves a mammoth challenge, all in the name of strong women.
If you know us well, you'll know we're passionate about a world where women thrive and we want to channel that towards something that needs all the support it can get.
Around the world, millions of girls are denied the chance to go to school simply because they are girls. More than 122 million to be precise.
We are raising money for the Malala Fund to help girls everywhere access years of free, safe, quality education so they can have the simple right of choosing their own future.
In celebration of the many incredible women in the UK's history, we're going to be walking from Beatrix Potter's house in the heart of the Lake District, all the way down to the Brontë Museum across the Yorkshire Dales. Just like Peter Rabbit exploring his beautiful homeland of the Lakes, and Cathy's hunt across the moors to reunite with Heathcliff, Kate and I will be navigating harsh terrain, probably harsher weather…. and very, very little signposting.
Just a couple of city girls who thought they could somehow read a compass!?
From Monday 28th September, we are walking over 88 miles across five days of back-to-back hiking. Please help make our blisters worth it by donating to making these incredible girl's lives better.
