I'm going to be jumping out of a plane to raise money for Younger People with Dementia!

Why I'm fundraising for Younger People with Dementia:

Dementia is considered young onset when it affects people under 65 years of age. It is also referred to as early onset or working age dementia, affecting people from as young as in their 20's, 30's and 40's. Younger People with Dementia support those living with a diagnosis, and their families, reducing social isolation and bringing people together when they need each other most.

In my role as a mental health nurse, I have seen first hand the amazing support and difference YPWD makes to my patients and their families. I want to support them to continue to provide this vital lifeline for those living with dementia and their loved ones.
