If you’re reading this, you probably know me and it won’t come as a surprise that I would put myself through this!!! If you don’t know me, I have five sisters… which probably explains a lot! 😂

I find humour in most things. In my work, I spend a lot of time thinking about people, relationships and connection. I love how laughter can help us connect, feel human and get through life’s difficult moments.

I’ve always loved making people laugh, although I’m not entirely sure whether they’re laughing with me or at me! So when the opportunity came along to find out, while raising money for a brilliant cause, I thought I’d give it a crack. 🙈

Over four workshops, I’ll somehow be turning my thoughts and observations about people, relationships and life into five minutes of stand-up at Hot Water Comedy Club. Five minutes doesn’t sound very long… until the pressure is on to be funny for all of them. 😂

The Comedy Trust uses comedy to build confidence, connection and wellbeing — all things I care about in my own work. Funny or not, it feels like a pretty good reason to get up there!
