Cross Bay Walk - Sunday 28 July 2024

Fundraising for St John’s Hospice North Lancashire and South Lakes

I’ am taking part in one of the Cross Bay Walks in 2024 organised by The Guide Over Sands Trust, with some of my Zumba friends to raise vital funds for St John’s Hospice on Sunday 28 July. Setting off from Arnside and arriving at Grange Over Sands, approximately 8 miles. The walk costs £15 pp which goes to The Guide over Sands Trust which helps keep the walks going year after year . 

Please help us to support St John’s Hospice in memory of my mum, Gloria Malin, where she spent her last 5 days as end of life care from a Haemorrhagic Stroke and passed away on 3rd May. Your funds will help continue the fantastic work they do and support loved ones at the time they need it.

My mum had a strong connection with Morecambe Bay as she lived with my dad on the shore-front at Bolton-le-Sands for 54 years, appreciating the wonderful coastal views from many windows from their house and also the garden. I am completing this walk again as previously my mum and I had crossed the Bay with Cedrick Robinson, the Queen’s Guide to the Sands.
