UPDATE - 4 weeks in: 6189m climbed!!!
I saw this challenge from the British Dyslexia Society: "For many young people with dyslexia, revising for exams feels like climbing a mountain - one that others seem to scale without struggle. Research has shown that whilst many children experience stress during exam times, students with dyslexia experience it to a greater degree."
As many of you know, my daughter is dyslexic. She is currently sitting her final school exams. She has worked so hard in her school career, and we have fought a number of battles to help her. Although we no longer live in the UK, I am still inspired by this challenge to help dyslexics in the UK.
Whilst I live in the mountains and cycle and run a lot, completing 8848m of height gain in 7 weeks will still push me
Please sponsor me and help support the BDA in:
- Providing learning tools and resources
- Offering support and guidance for students during exam periods
- Raising awareness and advocacy for dyslexic students in schools
Thank you.
