Story
I am honored to be running in the ATW St Albans Half Marathon on 14 June 2026, dedicating every step to a cause that is deeply close to my heart: the Herts Domestic Abuse Helpline. For two years, I have volunteered as a call taker, offering a compassionate ear and vital support to those affected by domestic abuse. This helpline is a beacon of hope, providing confidential and non-judgemental assistance to anyone in need—whether they are currently experiencing abuse, healing from it, or supporting someone else.
In just the past year alone, the helpline has been a lifeline for nearly 500 women and 70 men through its phone service. These numbers represent real lives touched and transformed by kindness and understanding during their darkest moments. However, this essential work cannot continue without your help. The demand for support is growing, and so is the need for funding.
I am aiming to raise £300 to ensure that the Herts Domestic Abuse Helpline can keep offering this critical service. Your generous contribution will directly empower survivors with hope and resources when they need it most. Please join me in making a difference.
