84 day fitness challenge

Story

Did you know that 84 men per week in the UK tragically take their own lives? It’s a staggering statistic that highlights the urgent need for increased mental health support and awareness in our communities.

Sadly, this is something that has touched my life, and those of my friends and colleagues.

That’s why I'm taking part in the Tough Enough To Care 84-day fitness challenge! I'm dedicating 84 days to raising awareness and funds for mental health initiatives that can truly make a difference.

For 84 days starting on Monday 27th May, I am committed to walking 8,400 steps a day. Working an office job, there are days when this will be a tall order!

My target of £200 is enough to sponsor a free Mental Health First Aid Champion course for a community hero (in a non-profit or a grass roots sports member), enabling them to recognise signs of crisis and offer vital support.

Please dig deep, and support a wonderful cause.
