Kate Webber is raising money for Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation
In memory of Rosie Webber

Run 4 Rosie · 28 March 2026

We are the only UK lung cancer charity dedicated to helping everyone affected by the disease. We fund essential research and provide much needed support, information and advice. We raise awareness and challenge the misconceptions of lung cancer. We do all this so those affected can expect better.

Story

Run 4 Rosie 2026 -Running in the summertime!

Our 24 is 25 in 26!

The 24hr sponsored running (and walking) event is returning for 2026 and this year with the clocks skipping an hour forward into British Summertime we certainly won’t be skipping on our 24hr challenge! Instead we will be adding an extra hour - our 24 is 25 in 26!

The Webber family and Chagford Runners would love you to join us and help to raise vital funds for the Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation in memory of our mum Rosie.

Challenge yourself to run or walk 5k, 10k, 10 miles or even further on routes set around the beautiful parish of Chagford. There will also be the mini marathon challenge for the under 11s.

Please join us at The Clubhouse, War Memorial Playing Fields, Chagford from 9am on Saturday 28th March for 25 hours of running, walking and entertainment! There will be a Big Breakfast, delicious lunches, afternoon tea, live musical entertainment, pie and mash supper, open mic night and licensed bar.

Don’t forget to get your family and friends to sponsor you!

For the past three decades, Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation has been the driving force behind lung cancer research, investing millions of pounds into the early detection of the disease. We have done this, and will continue to do this, because we know if lung cancer is caught early, curative treatment is possible.
