Support the MFT Blue Wave Trans Allies Team – Manchester 10K 2025 🏃‍♀️🏳️‍⚧️

We're a team from Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust (MFT), proud to be running the Manchester 10K as the Blue Wave Trans Allies. Our team is made up of people who work across the Trust in the delivery of gender affirming care – including surgeons, anaesthetists, administration staff, medical photography, and members of our management team.

We're running to show visible, active support for our trans and gender diverse colleagues, patients, and wider community. Our presence in this race is a celebration of inclusion, solidarity, and allyship – and a reminder that everyone deserves dignity, respect, and access to affirming care.

We're raising money for the MFT Charity, which supports the health and wellbeing of patients and staff across our hospitals. Donations will go toward services, projects, and resources that help make our hospitals more supportive and inclusive for all.
